Re: visiting from USA - Patrick Cain kk Michael fa

Ms. Frances,

Thank you for kind reply, I am sorry for the caps, as I was totally unaware of the nature of that usauge. We will be staying a month, that was our plans for the last holiday and of course with the fall , we did not stay as planned. The Mormon files you speak of I am aware of, I have most of that information. I am interested in the Kirk Michael Parish records, I will be asking about on the Web on the Isle of Mann for a registrar to help. I have waited many years for this day , and it was spoilt the first time and I am planning this one and in quite a differnent fashion. I am grateful for your reply and shall await for any who so desires to relply back. I plan to make Isle of Mann our retirement retreat. We are hoping to rotate, between it and Leicester, we are retired military and I am in the legal profession and my husband works Nuclear. We fell in love with Leicester and had teas and luncheons with many of the old school chums of our mother. We did the Leicester market, all the lovely shops, and ate at Wetherspoons, and we found Rossa's , a quaint little foodery on the 2nd floorof the indoor market and had the best soup and meat pies. It was a lovely time even with our brief stay. Truly yours, Mrs. Rosa P.S. My husband is Sicilian and he has been there and has all his family heritage has is finalized. His ancestry name was changed at Ellis Island, from Razzia to Rosa, we had to do alot of family research, and many relatives had wonderful records, not so with my Cains, I had no records in the beginning, and now I have many. So be it. Looking so forward to our visit.
