Child Joseph Kneale born Lonan 29 April 1798
married Isabella Kelly in 1825
Married (2) Ann Farragher 16 June 1806 Lonan
several children including another Joseph b1818

I was researching the line of Joseph born Lonan 1798 who married Isabella Kelly in 1825 through their son Benjamin who went to America.

I have this information from a family descendant: "When his mother died, Benjamin was taken by John and Margaret (Kelly) Quine to raise. .....William Kneale had had an earlier wife, the mother of Joseph. Joseph also came to America not very long after Benjamin came, arriving with or going to his son James home in the Pontiac, Oakland County, Michigan area. He appears there in the census for 1870 and 1880, and we all have him passing away in about 1894.
William Kneale's will, which confirmed that the Faragher family property, the mill called 'Mullin Cottage in Laxey gill' in the will, was left to the children of his second wife, who had brought the mill into the marriage. He also left money 'to the poor in the parish in Lonan"
