I am not sure if the CAins you are researching are connected to those I have an interest in. My Great Grandfather was Thomas Edward Cain b1852,son of James Cain b1809 and Elizabeth Leeceb 1817. James had a prior marriage to Judith Radcliffe1806-1849 and they had 9 children. John Caesar,1831, Mary Ann 1833, James 1835, Mary 1837, Margaret 1837, William1841, Elizabet 1843, Thomas Radcliffe 1846, and Catherine 1848. James Cain was the son of John Cainb1798 and Mary Clague, and had siblings William 1800, James 1801, Elizabeth 1803, Mary 1805. DO you know if any of these are connected to your family. I am just joining the IOMFHSand planning a visit to IOM next year.
