Thanks for your reply. Yes most of the current day folk with Marshall as either a first or second Christian name are my relatives, I have quite a few on the Island, however, though all wonderful folk whom I love very much, I am the family history gal, unfortunately, I'm the one 6000 miles away in BC Canada! LIfes funny...

Most of my uncles are either Marshall, Douglas Marshall or James with Marshall and/or Douglas, etc. etc. etc. S|I had a Aunt who's second Christian name was also Marshall!

My original inquiry was if our family was connected to Marshall Bridson who co-founded Bridson and Horrox. I'm not after anything but merely curious about family connections as we all are I suspect! The name is just curiously found so far only in my line from Ellen Marshall my 2X great grandmother who married William Bridson, a roper.

I really am grateful for all the help so far and hope with anticipation that someone can either give me a contact to ask directly or if anyone knows who this Marshall Bridson is related to that they would email me.
