I asked this a while ago but got no response so I thought I would try again. Does anyone know anything about Marshall Bridson, original partner of Bridson and Horrox? Who was his family? My maternal grandfather had the same name and I am trying to see if there was a connection so many members of this line, even today, carry Marshall as a first or second name, it comes from a grandmother who was Ellenor Marshall, she married my great X 2 grandfather William Bridson at Braddan and came originally from Ireland. Rumour has it that she insisted that her Surname be carried in subsequent children and grandchildren. My aunt's second Christian name was Marshall! Nearly all the other siblings of mum's also carry Marshall as a first or second name as well.

Any help would, as always, be gratefully received.
