Brian Lawson's burial index has a James Marshall Bridson buried in Douglas November 11 1948 aged 49.
He would probably be the son of John M Bridson and Emily Cooper and born in 1899.
Possibly there are 1930s & 1940s trade directories or an obituary (in the Museum?) which might indicate whether James was a printer.
Also he may have left be a will, although I do not know where more recent wills are stored.
