Len, the problem is that I have traced everyone back to 1815, but I am unable to obtain a birth certificate for Thomas, born in that year. Mary, I am afraid your great grandmother was TOO YOUNG if she married in 1876, but this is the sort of information I am looking for. Sue, I don't seem to be able to pick up the website you suggested, but if it is the BREW ONE NAME STUDY, I have squeezed it dry for information!! Thanks again to you all for your help.
