most of what you need is probably on mormon microfilm - Brian Lawson www.lawsons.ca has done an excellent job in indexing burials and wills - try Manxnotebook for some leads (look under family history)
You can do much of your work before coming to the Island - then you can investigate those resources not on Mormon microfilm
