Thanks again, Len.
You've caused me to have to go back to notes I took back in February of 1991. And Sho 'nuff. There the Richard Kneens all are in Enumeration District 2 of Rushen Parish. I was taking my info from a potted genealogy and second hand, at that. And you caused me to have finally, to look up my umpty-ump great grandfather John Kneen's burial date in Lawson's burial index because in looking at these 1991 notes, I noticed him as an 85 year old in the 1851 household. Ditto, look-up for his wife giving me her birth year for the first time in my research. And all because what I really wanted to know, was did Thomas Crye have a marriage previous to Elizabeth Kneen?
I'm trying to place an Alice Crye, who seems to be related to the Millicent and Nellie of the Rushen Tombstone. And I'm trying to connect this Thomas Crye with a marriage to a Catherine Clegg who died in childbirth back in 1865 in Liverpool. And finally while I'm picking your brain, How did you find out about Nellie being born in Ohio? Do you have more than a casual interest in this line?
