Re: Parish Register Interpretation

Did you try the FHS 1841 census on microfiche?
It may give details of occupation and relationships.
However, as there are very few Paul Creers in the IOM IGI I looked up Paul Creer in the 1881 census in German: Age 62 born in Braddan Farmer of 27 acres. There is a will for Paul in 1995.

Also in the 1841 census Sarah was living with Caesar and Margaret Crellin. According to the 1881 census Caesar was also a farmer in German. She was possibly a visitor.
The Isle of Man Family History Society publishes the 1851 census by parish. This might indicate that Paul was already a farmer by 1851, indicating possibly indicating that his father had retired or died.
The 1851 census shows an Elizabeth Creer age 53, living in German with Thomas Creer age 22.
In the 1881 census in German there is an Elizabeth Creer age 84 widow living with a Margaret Cosnahan.
An Elizabeth Creer appears in the German burial register Jan 1 1887 aged 95, probably the same one.
