Certainly I am aware of Quoqunque Jeceris Stabit, Whichever way you throw me I will stand, which is the Manx Motto, and is in Latin, of course. Frances' interpretation is interesting. As a little person at school too many years ago, when we were taught many Manx things, we were taught that it means (not exact words) that whatever happens to us, whatever is done to us, we will land on our feet, and survive. A modern day equivalent could be something to do with roses!
