I think I might have found Wm in 1841 - a labourer in Back Street (this I think should be Back Strand Street - a small portion still exists today )
he is with recently married daughter Jane - husband Daniel Ward (Irish born in 1851) he his a mason in 41 + 51 (by which time moved slightly, tho upmarket, to 3 Chester Street by 61 he is a publican in Chester Arms in Strand Street (tho I think it was on the corner of Strand St + Chester St to which it gave the street its name)- children post Wm's death are all based Roman Catholic (their 1st child who died aged 1 was named John)

Wm died + buried Braddan Bra 18431016 aged 73
