I wanted to try and find out a little more about Henry Clinton, I recall my Grandfather thinking that our line had come from Ireland. You mentioned that he was a stranger to the island and there were no records of birth, property ownership or death.
Just wondering if you might have some ideas as to where I could start. It's a shame they didn't record the ages of the parents in the records as this would give a starting point.
