Also, on FamilySearch.com, I found an entry for a Wm Christian, son of Danil and Isabel Christian, Bap 31Aug1800 in the Douglas Baptismal registry of 1800. I have no direct documentation of William's date of birth, and I do not know how soon after birth it was customary to baptize a child. Douglas is within travel distance of Onchan or Castletown. But these of course are different parents than the John you discovered. What do you think?
