that seems wrong - the year is correct but John I think was possibly 2nd son of James Christian + Jane Oates bapt Onchan 17680904 - the John s/o Edward was of Balluig - this James was s/o Philip Christian noted of Begode but lines seem confused to me at moment - I think I've summarised the various wills on Manxnotebook

I think the link in Begode went James who settked estate as I noted in an earlier posting -> Philip + wife jony/judy als corran (there was Philip jnr but he d before father see wills)->John bapt Onchan 17280302) m elinor lewn -> John bapt onc 17670106 who might be the John father of Wm. - I'll see what I have of lib vas for this period but I'm off Island until post TT.
