Hi Lionel, Thank you so much for your message and link to the family tree. I am a descendant through Peter and Mary Moore's son, Thomas. My g.g. grandfather was William Preston Moore, also a Sailmaker and grandson of Thomas, who settled in Liverpool after serving in the American Civil War. I am meeting relatives from USA in Douglas on 13 May for the first time, who are descendants of William Preston Moore's brother, James Christian Moore. They will be thrilled to know of the Cottiers.
