I am looking for information regarding ancestor Peter Moore born in 1749 who married Mary Cottier in 1780 and whether he was the Merchant/shop keeper who had premises close to North Quay/James Street.

I have researched another Peter Moore born in 1741,but the age on my Peter's gravestone in Bradden is 8 years out, and I doubt if this is the correct person.

His son Thomas and grandson Peter later had a sailmaking business in the same area during the early-mid 19th century.

Any information would be much appreciated.
