James’ age varies in the census records. For that period of time we can only access a baptism for him there are no birth certificates as this was before registration. I’ve already posted a link to James’ baptism in the Isle of Man and his 1851 IOM census entry agrees with it. He was born in 1850 on the Isle of Man.
