Sorry if I didn't make myself clear. I understand what you explained about John Kennaugh and Alice Corlett but am I right in thinking that John's father was a Gilbert Kennaugh ( 1670-1717 ) ,born in Malew, and if so, who was his wife? Was this Gilbert's father a Phillip Kennaugh ( born in Malew in 1645 ) and if so do you know who he was married to?Sorry if I seemed to be questioning you, Frances, which I wasn't but I rely on your pointers to keep me moving forward.
