Hi Lynne... I too am related to Alexander Cain b 1821... Through his daughter Jane b. 6th August 1855 at Brecknock in Wales.... Are u related to Alexander her brother?... Jane died in Durham aged 26 on the 5th September 1881.. She married William Tidbury 20th April 1875. Would be interested in how you think she went to Australia's?
