Very many thanks, Eric, for all your extra work and corrections.
CR has that particular Robert s/o David Corkill as b.1808, d.1853, and his elder brother James as married Cath Corkill and with descendants in Kansas.
[Robt CORKILL, 47, Port y Vullin, buried Maughold 4 Apr 1853.]
Obviously he didn't die in 1853 because he married Jane Quine 25 Jun 1854. But was he the Robert who also married both Jane Hogg & Jane Corkill? The censuses consistently fit first suggested Robert's 1811 birthdate, and if not him where did he vanish to? Many Corkills had the same occupations as each other (and Robert was an ag lab rather than a tailor in 1861 following his marriage to Jane Quine), so I'm not 100% certain on this one, although you are probably right.
Regarding the burial for marriage no.2 Jane Corkill (if indeed the same Robert married all three Janes):
CORKILL, Jane Maughold 16 Dec 1846. This one has "(Dick)" - i.e. the Ballagorry family.
CORKILL, Jane Maughold 12 Apr 1848. This one has "Davy". As David as a name was rare among the Corkills it is certainly possible that David's descendants were identified as Davy.
CORKILL, Jane Maughold 25 Aug 1848. She was only aged 23.
Possibly Jane d/o Robert Corkill & Esther Looney bapt 30 Oct 1825.
