Here’s a possible candidate for the William Watterson who married Catherine Fick in Braddan in May 1884 and didn’t have any children on the IOM, and was a widower by 1890. Perhaps the newly married couple emigrated in 1885 and Catherine returned to the IOM alone soon after ?
