I looked in the newspapers archive at the iMuseum site and found a marriage announcement for William Watterson and Cath Vick. The announcement says he's "of Peel" and she's "of Circular Road, Douglas".

I think I will check the iMuseum entries for Wm Watterson marriages after 1890, see if there's one for a widower.
