Hello Roy. You will have read my message to Karen explaining the interest. I notice I had written card was signed by a lady named Harry - woops! should have been Emma! The Caine my uncle talked about was nicknamed "Caine the Muck" so can imagine what was in the cart! I doubt now that we can connect your family and the Cowells to the Palmers who lived in Peel for a while and then Albert m Elizabeth Christian and his sister m first a William Craig and then a Frederick Quine in Douglas. I have never been able to solve the mystery of why I now hold the postcard via my uncle. I think the closest connection must be the Cowells.
