I have just picked up you message about the Cowells of Duke Street. I am Louisa's Great Granddaughter and am researching the family. She went on to marry Charles Henry Kewley and lived in Douglas. I know that her brothers were fishermen in Peel and that there is some connection with the Cowell family and that of Charlie Cain the Cox who directed a famous rescue from the vessel The St.George.
