it looks to me as though Peter Mylchreest senr may have had a 'wife' in two ports - the combination does appear to match the 1956 newspaper entry which unusually for Manx reporting was somewhat reticent on the names of the parents - wonder if there is an MI for her.

Anyway it looks from the late marriage for Amy that she has been correctly identified as d/o Paul Faragher - which line I can take back quite a few generations - think I even have a painting on the cottage at Port Grenaugh in Santon (a small very pleasant cove + beach)
