Thank you to all who have been helping me. My dad had it all twisted, she was born Amy Elizabeth Faragher she married a Jimmy Kelly around 1947-48. My Dad's dad was named Peter Mulcriest--Mulcrest who was a merchant on a coal ship and died at sea. Now I might be able to get some where.
