Sue - without wishing to disturb any more wild geese during nesting season I wonder if the Peter Mylchreest might be a son of this Peter - there is a burial in 1929 but over 9 months before the birth of the illeg child to Amy - there are 3 refs on the Newspaper index - again having time on my hands in Museum I started to look at these - there was one just post WW1, a note of an AB Peter Faragher being a crew member on final voyage of a IoMSPCo ship to breaker's yards in 1929(recall the IoMSPCo crew were a mixed bunch of Manx + Scousers) then the 1956 award for galentry which mentions a PSM father but also a WW2 service in Subs (and your 1911 Peter is much too old for this) and then service in RASC (which being part of Army many records searchable online if you have time)
