still working on the Boscow connection + the sale of Castle Mona estate in late 1830's - one hard fact is there was an Edward Boscoe who appears in Gores directory of Liverpool 1794 as a watch tool maker at 34 Peter street Whitechapel (Liverpool) - there is no Boscow (or similar) in the 1790 edition.
Will probably be a couple of weeks before I've sorted out the Boscow connection but there is one funny in that he appears in a report of a court case re opening up an old quarry near where he built houses in late 1830's in which he claims he (or his agents) quarried there about 30 years prior (ie c. 1810) which seems somewhat difficult to accept
