sorry forgot re Robert Boscow - no the two names that come up are Nicholas (+ wife Alice who by Manx law is required to cosign sales of property) + son Arthur (there is an interesting case in 1831 in which Arthur (a minor thus thro father Nicholas) sues deemster Christian for assualt as it appears he was 'poaching' or at least illegally fishing from the bank of the land Boscow was leasing in Lezayre; Boscow claims Arthur was thrown into the river when Deemster Christian who owned the fishing rights ordered his men to throw him in - Christain got away with it - possibly this is why he moved down to Douglas ?
It is the Elder Boscoe 'from IoM' who left in 1841 that confuses me - wonder if there was a Liverpool based + related family who might have provided the Mormon link 9I suspect Nicholas made use of the mormon emigration scheme for a low cost get away tho it may be possible that he had some links via the Robinson family as if he was linked to the Presbyterian church in Ramsey then joining or at least being associated with Saml Haining's Atholl street chapel makes sense - he + architect John Robinson were involved in a couple of building projects and JR's 2nd wife had joined the mormons (+ I think bankrolled them post 1850's)
