assuming have the right parents Nich + Margt then had a look at my notes on the original Kk German marriage reg where Nicholas m Margt Moore - looks like marriage 17370131 but note reads date obscured looks same hand as above; nich quine of kk braddan
This would fit with Nicholas being s/o Nicholas Quine + Isabel/Elizth (names were interchangeable at this period) Stean(or Stephen) who married Braddan 16940605 with Nich prob baptised Braddan 17090214 - and to cap it there is a marriage contract Old Braddan deed #27 - [faded ink] dated 4 jun 1694;John Steane + wife Christian als Kewley ?obo dau Elizth;Nich Quine obo himself;to marry within a week;Steans to settle half farme;witt John Kinish x, William Cubon x,Thomas Christian;court june 1708
and a will for Nich senr - d 31 jul 1732;son & heir john;dau ellin,jony;son-in-law thomas hampton;gdau isabel cokhill,wife alive, s-i-l paul corkill;sons nich & robt execs
Isabel's will is possibly 1743: widow;dau joney cain als quine;d-i-l joney quine als moor;charles cain h/o joney dec'd + john quine h/o jony
Nicholas is noted as tailor of Ramsey - looks as tho bought property as NSS May 1741 #45 has:
dated 20 Jan 1740/1;Mary Casement als Christian(Ramsey) sells for £6 17s to friend Nicholas Quine a house and garden in Ramsey 2d rent + 1.5d brass rent situate betwixt Mich Sayle on one side and Christo Jonson on other from the street to the sea; if Mary cannot support the right [ie does not have full legal right]then to have half the consideration money and to have the use of the room over the cellar during her lifetime;Witt Rich Voase x, Paul Corkill x, Arthur Cowll;additional obligation on Quine to keep Mary's room in sufficient repair
there is an as yet unseen deed NSS Oct 1753 28 Nicholas Christian to Nich Quine which may be the rest of the property assuming Mary actually only had half
There might well be property in Douglas + Braddan but I'll report on this later
