Mary, thank you for posting the details that is the reference number I would of used for the registry, but the registry state that third party reference numbers are not applicatble ie manxbmd, saying that I am sure I have used the reference numbers from manxbmd in the past.
Hello there David, yes it is a bit of a mission, I had scaled down my search but just recently I have noticed burial records that could be significant. Thank you for your help in trying to connect Isabella Amelia Foster to Alice Foster, I have had no luck in doing this. Also, thanks for posting the siblings of Isabella Amelia, I know that is awful losing those 3 very young children like that so sad for the family, I wonder what they died of?
That was an interesting find you posted regarding the 1871 census and the Foster family, especially as you say, the A C A (f) aged 1. However, I could not find this family, I searched on find my past for Edward born 1840 + /- 5 years resident Isle of Man first, no luck, then I tried again without a birth year or a first name but nothing came up. I also put in the initials and then finally I tried the 1861 census, but nothing. It is a shame as I would of liked to have seen the image.
Sue, thank you for enlightening David, I have a feeling that he knows of the shenanigans of my William Henry Cox.
Onwards and upwards.
