Hello EWAN , I looked at the Rushen Burials list which just has Alice Foster 52 yrs[ from] Port Erin

buried 21st March 1923. No other remarks in the column.

The MI index is currently "lost" new one being purchased but I did run my finger down every page of the MI book &

could find no Foster entry. An unusual name here. In the burials there were also----Isabella Amalia age 85yrs from Port Erin

buried 10th August 1963. // John age 17yrs from Ballakilpheric [up in the hills] buried 22nd July 1912.

It looks as if you need to buy a death cert.
