I recant - looks as tho SSS May 1744 69 indexed as Cha Mylrea to Tho Bell + Joney Mylrea
confirms - dated 3 Jun 1739;recites that by bill of sale dated 6 Feb 1722/3 John Mcylrea(Fildraw) sold part of Fildraw Faie to his son + dau which is now in hands of Tho Bell and the rest in hands of Thos Mcylrea's widow and now Chas Mcylrea gson of sd John pretending a right and has taken the law. To prevent any law suits Cha Mcylrea junr accepts £3 from hands of Tho Bell and Joney Mcylrea and sells the foresd parcel or part of Fildraw faii sold by my gfa;Witt Patt Crellin, Wm Stole;
Thus by then Joney must have been back in Fildraw as she would have no right to Ballaquaile as Tho only held it by widowright and sounds as tho deaf Jony must have died and the land gone back to the Bells (need look in Lib mon which should note this)
relations between Charles senr + junr would not appear to be good as in SSM Oct 1739 83 [Cancelled]dated 27 Sep 1739;Charles Mcylrea junr(Fildraw) + wife Mary als Bridson mortgage for 5yrs for £20 to Ewan Looney(Malew) parcels of Abbey land known as the garey, Lugh volley and the two hills - Mcylrea to remain in possession and pay 20s annual interest - with priviso that if Chas Mcylrea father of Charles junr do recover the parcel known as the two hills then Charles junr to give another parcel equivalent; Witt Wm Curghey, Wm Corrin x;1744: Ewan Looney acks from Wm Stole obo Chas Mcylrea full repayment
