Must admit I had a passing interest in the Caleys mainly because a Cath Caley married John Caine Michael 24.5.1746 . JC and CC' son was baptismised 25.6.1748. I wondered if this was the John Caine who married Mary Cannell, But that marriage was only 14 yrs after his baptism. And whilst I know that happened with the JC who married Christian Cowley I don't see any marriage contract for John Caine and Mary Cannell
I had hoped that Cath Caley was related to Mary Caley but the two ladies were married years apart so that is highly unlikely.
