1st wife was Bahee Corlet by whom Oristal seems to have arrived (look at Marr) Patk was noted as of Bishop's demesne - they married Mic 17310220 but only had one dau Ann (see will Bahee d 24 nov 1739;only dau ann cannel;husb john exec;sis cath cannel als corlet)

the 1st dau of John's 2nd mar Mary I think married John Caine

Presume then I was on the right line - just with the wrong family.
Patrick who married Mary Caley had a sister Mary Cannell who married one of 'my' John Caines
John bought the land 4s4d from brother-in-law Patrick and he Mary had the son John Caine bapt 13 Nov 1768 @ Michael. This was the John who married Isabel Caine.
So which family did Mary Cannell's husband John Caine come from ??
