I did read the introduction before making my last post but, sadly, the film number failed to register - my apologies!

I had also searched the Family History Library, and picked up numerous references (including those listed under 'Register of Births, Marriages and Deaths, which you kindly included in your email) but I could not, it seems, see the wood for the trees. However, thanks to you I now feel comfortably armed for my foray to the FHC.
