I would really like some help sorting out a Robert Moore. In the Feb journal of IOMFHS on page 44 there is an article sent in by a Jim Moore about Robert Stephen Moore's family. In the text there is mention of a William Moore of Ballavarkish who was my own great great grandfather. He was the uncle to Robert Stephen Moore. This R.S. Moore had a sister Elizabeth born Dec 1861 who married a cousin called Robert Moore. What am I trying to find out ? ... Was this Robert Moore who md Elizabeth Moore the son of my great great grandfather & therefore a brother of my great grandfather William Thomas Moore ? I have notes from 1911 census of a nephew Robert William aged 10 at Ballavarkish. I also have a Robert William Moore born July 1900 son of Robert & Margaret Moore. I have written to Jim Moore in Australia but couldn't verify the facts although it could well be a possibility that Elizabeth did marry the Ballavarkish Robert. Any help appreciated.
