Hi, I having been reading your messages with interest. My GGgrandfather was John Jospeh bremner born 1827 ( possibly on a voyage we are told from America to England). I can't find any trace of his parents. Is it possible this John Bremner is the same one you are researching. My John married Mary Ann Bradley in 1855 in Nelson New Zealand and had children here. He died in Renwick town Nelson in 1884 age 57yrs. I can't find any reference to him on any immigrant ship passenger lists.
