Hi Sylvia , webfriend Jean , who has access to various Australia BMD's that are not online like New South Wales , is trying to find them . However they seem to have disappeared , she suggested they may have left Adelaide , that's why the unclaimed letter was posted in 1853. BUT where, can't seem to find any children for them , or any deaths for Robert and Jane , it seems that maybe Robert might have left and maybe Jane remarried ? We will try to research that idea , that 1846 marriage was from church records ? not LDS member ?
