I did trawl through IGI Robert Clagues, but all I've got to go on is the 'of Lezayre' from the marriage record and that was the only one, that I spotted anyway. Ideal scenario - find parents, they leave a will mentioning 'my son Robert in Adelaide and his wife Jane Cavendish!'. I can dream, can't I?

Not sure where to go from here. Still as stuck as before except I've got that lovely, exciting, tantalising possibility of their arrival in Adelaide. I would love to find out more about her life in Australia, where she lived and died. Did she have any children?
