I wouldn't bother with the 1st ed(1869) O/S sheet - I acquired about 50% of the complete set some years ago - tho I think reprints are available they are prohibitively expensive and this sheet is virtually empty other than 2 buildings a couple of roads and the unfenced road that became the mountain road - old edition of 6inch/mile is available online, the 1st ed 1"/mile on my cd rom - the 2 sheet Public rights of way map will give you an easy reference to use google maps to see see near-current state of area
