Thanks for the answer. Nowadays I expect the engraving is done by machine. Here in Sweden in the local churchyard which is big & spread out using natural surroundings, some people have secured a plot (maybe ordered whilst still alive) in the small wooded area & you see the simple inscription carved into the natural rocks & boulders that have been there for years.
