Ann caine als corlet's will states she died d 12 sep;- the Michael Burial register states buried 12 Sep 1738.
Adan Caine + wife Ann als Callister had a deed of settlement of half estate to son Patk dated 21 Feb 1736/7; - she could not have been the wife of Adam Caine unless you want to add a bigamous relationship to your tree (for which I hate to think how Bishop Wilson would have handled such offenders)
Patk Caine s/o Adam (of Knockan Ballaugh) entered into a mortgage with Phill Craine on part of the land he held in common with father Adam "entered by vertue of a bill of mortgage from the sd Pat Caine & his wife dated the 5th Feb 1744" this went thru the court in May 1750 so it looks Patt was still on Island then - the mortage would have been redeemed, the date of which I should be able to determine once I can get back to Museum.
