In memory of the following children of Phillip Caine of Douglas and Mary
his wife, viz Henry died 4th Nov 1830 aged 14 days(wrong) Robt died 13th
Sept 1833 aged 9 months Here are also interred the remains of the above
named Mary Cain als. Younghusband formerly of Workington who died on the
2nd day of October 1841 in the 42 yr of her age.

Philip then married Sarah Dickenson Creer 27 Jan 1842 - Braddan Marriage Records FHL Film
#0106710: Philip Cain widower and Sarah Creer Widow of this parish
were married in this church by licence this 27th of January 1842 by me
Robert Brown Vicar. In presence of Anthony Dickenson Matthais Cain and
Hannah Dickenson.

Sarah 14 May 1807 Braddan had md Edward Creer 11 Jan 1826 Braddan. They had 10 children. Edward died 5 Aug 1838 at sea

Erected by his widow in memory of the late Edward Creer master of the
smack Fame of Douglas who was unfortnately drowned by falling over board
on passage to Liverpool Sunday August 5th 1838 in the 43rd year of his
age greatly respected. Here lie the remains of Frances Rigley daughter
of Philip Cain of Douglas and Sarah his wife who departed this life the
14th Octr 1847 aged 1 year and 4 months.

Douglas who departed this life the 27th of May 1850 aged 43 years.
