Hello, My great grandparents were Robert Kinley and Elizabeth Kinley (Knowles). They are buried in a churchyard in Lonan. He died aged 47 on 15 Mar 1872 and she died aged 40 on 8 Dec 1872. Can you please find out what caused their deaths ? He was a lead miner in the Laxey Mines but he did not die as a result of an accident. Their daughter, my grandmother was living in Ballacloan House orphanage on the census of 1881 and at sometime she came to England where she met and married my grandfather in 1897. Is there any way that I can find out when she came to England? I have found one distant relative living in the IOM and she is descended from the Casement - Skillicorn families. I am interested in finding others.
