Lois,
The short answer is No!
I have been re-looking at some of your earlier postings/strings on this general subject eg. in May 2006 and it seems you have not progressed.
Therefore I will briefly recap on this string and add a few riders:-
i) You now know about Margaret (1807), Catherine (1809) and of course you already have Anne CORLETT chr. 12th Dec. 1811 at Ballaugh.
They were all siblings!
ii) The John CORLETT you have as chr. 08th Jan. 1815 at Bh (born on the 05th) was the second known child and second known son of Daniel CORLETT and Margaret CORLETT (CORLETT)
That couple (who also emmigrated) were married on 01st May 1813 at Ballaugh.
I can also quote the following from notes on CORLETTs by Edmund E.G. Goodwin (1844 to 1924) bottom of page 9.
"1911-John, one of the richest manxmen in Cleveland,d.a.97 born in Ballaugh (leaving-crossed out) not far from Bishops Court Jan 5 1815, emmigrated 1836, shoemaker by trade, m 1850 Marg. Cubbin, native of Jurby. Left surviving da. Mrs Henry Reimur? He had nephew Rich d. Callister in Cleveland"
Nb. After William and Thomas, John was the third most common name given to males and very often gives the researcher the most frustration.
iii) Next we come to young Daniel (not Daniel K.) CORLETT (1817) he was the fourth known child and sibling to the three mentioned above.
Nb. Southard would be SOUTHWARD on the I.O.M.
iv) William K? CORLETT born/chr. on 06th July 1819 in I.O.M. is unknown to us.
v) Philip CORLETT born after 1820 is also unknown to us.
vi) I suggest you go back to the drawing board as there are other anomilies
eg. You say Margaret CORLETT chr. 17th June 1798 in German was the wife of Daniel CORLETT chr. 14th Aug. 1787 at Ballaugh.
You also say that she was the daughter of John and Margaret Cowel CORLETT!
manxnotebook tells us "Illegitimate births in German"
John Cowel and Margaret Corlett had a daughter:- Margaret Corlett chr. 17th June 1798 in Gn.
We believe that this illegitimate girl never married, stayed in the I.O.M. and was buried aged 64 on 02nd of May 1863 in Patrick.
Peter.
