You may have meant James Boyd who married Catherine Corlett Mch 2 1846 in Cuyahoga Ohio.

He was the son of John Boyd and Isabella Howland.

The family in 1841 consisted of :-

Ann 25
William 22 farmer
James 19 tailor

I think the father died 1827. At the census they were living at Glendhoo, Ballaugh and the burial record for this John was annotated 'Glen'.

Catherine Corlett is difficult to find. Would the marriage entry give any additional names?
