I'm a relative newcomer to family history, but I do understand, from my wife Julie's experience that one wrong fact can put you in completely the wrong family.
It was good to have confirmed John Joughin's death in 1709, but it was also fairly clear from John Lace's will that both were fishermen, about which, for some reason, I find myself strangely delighted. The wills also give a vivid picture of what life must have been like for their community, which seems to bring them to life.
In return I'll try to more about Bahee Lace and Larivane, as you suggest.
