Every so often I seem to return to my Cain connundrum. I've read and re-read your records re 'my' Cains and just have a couple of questions for you.
John Cain [one of them !!!] married Alice Cannell and what I am trying to ascertain is which side of the family was linked to the Glen of the Geese. He died in 1797 and his children [which includes my Isabel] are mentioned in his Will.
The MI for this John Cain seems to mention the name Dollin. [God's Acre] I'm wondering if that would be the name of his father - or what other reason would there be to include the name Dollin.
Also do you have any info on the Will for Cath Gell buried 27 May 1786. I'm just trying to find the connection between Cath Gell, John Caine [Yaher] and John husband of Alice.
And also do you know who the John Cain son of Christian Cowley and John Cain of Glen of the Geese married?
